Coach Korpela

MARQUES KORPELA

FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

Coach Marques Korpela

Marques knows the recruiting grind firsthand. He and his mom navigated the college system alone — no guides, no advocates. He started at UW-Whitewater, missed his season with an injury, returned as a walk-on at Southwest Minnesota State, and earned a scholarship after his first year. He played quarterback at both schools and made Academic All-Conference multiple times.

Today, Marques is a VP of Recruiting at NCSA — the nation's largest collegiate athletic recruiting network. His day job is connecting student-athletes with college opportunities. RoJo Legacy is where that expertise meets the field.

As a father of two daughters, he founded RoJo Legacy to give young female athletes what he never had: a program that develops them as competitors and positions them for collegiate scholarship opportunities.
